How to keep your nails looking fresh and beautiful longer

Some great tips!

Avoid prolonged soaking and excessive heat

Do not use a sauna/sunbed/ soak in the tub for the first 24 hours.

Wear gloves when cleaning or washing

Avoid lifiting and discolouration when handling household detergents and other chemicals.

Use quality cuticle oil

Massage the oil all around the nail including under the free edge to prevent brittleness and chipping.

Avoid picking or peeling product. Be careful with daily tasks such as buttons, flushing toilets, and wearing watches.

Avoid picking or peeling product. Do not bite or pick your finger. This will cause chipping, scratching and will affect the longevity of your nails.

Infections

Symptoms

Pain, swelling, and tenderness around the nail
Skin that is red and warm to the touch
Pus that builds under the skin
A white/yellow and pus-filled abscess may form.

Causes

Infections can be caused by:

Lifting or breaking of artificial nails
Cuts, broken skin, or hangnails
Ingrown nails
Irritation from water or chemical
Trauma to the nailbed or cuticle area - e.g., accidents, nail-biting

What to do?

Soak the infected area in warm water for about 15 minutes a few times a day.
Make sure to keep the infected area thoroughly dry after soak or showers.
Seek medical attention from your provider.

Our Customer Policy allows customers to return to the store within 7 days of their initial service if they are not satisfied with the quality of their service. If found accountable, the store will fix/re-do your nails to your satisfaction.
